Social Sustainability

In this subject, students will consolidate and build upon their Sociological knowledge to interrogate how sustainable societies are shaped, maintained or undermined. Extending their independent critical thinking and capacity for further studies, students will co-design a group project to imagine sustainable societies through a sociological lens. Through the production of sociologically grounded project outputs, students will not only learn how to communicate complex sociological ideas to the broader community but also apply sociological theory, research and concepts for the benefit of sustainable societies and human nonhuman relations.
