Grand Strategy and Analysis

This subject will provide students an in-depth, interdisciplinary introduction to the subject of strategy (especially grand strategy) and strategic analysis. Grand strategy brings together all aspects of state power and influence—cultural, diplomatic, informational, military, economic, and political—toward the achievement of a nation's fundamental goals. A fundamental question of grand strategy is how a nation can formulate its goals and best achieve its objectives using (always limited) means.
