Science in Practice

This subject builds upon the knowledge and skills developed by students in their first semester of the Bachelor of Science (Extended) and challenges them to extend and apply this to multidisciplinary case studies. Students will engage in place-based learning at locations around Narrm (Melbourne) that will develop their professional skills and understanding of science practice in their discipline of choice. This will also require students to demonstrate professional conduct and communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders. Students will develop their practical skills in science and engage in an interdisciplinary learning environment that will consolidate and extend their conceptual understanding in preparation for further study and employment.
