University of Melbourne
This capstone subject requires teams of students to work in cross-disciplinary teams to conceive and complete an entrepreneurial arts project over the semester. Each project will apply knowledge learned within their program and require students to conceive, design and deliver a project that utilises a range of arts management and curatorial skills over 138 hours. Projects will be completed under the supervision of the subject coordinators, supported by Project Labs that cover practitioner-oriented methodologies. Students will learn to work with unstructured and incomplete information, develop professional networks and team skills to support the delivery of professional outcomes, and seek and receive constructive feedback in various settings. Over the course of the semester, students will present on their plan of work, reflect on their professional development across their degree and construct a professional portfolio that showcases their arts industry-relevant skills.
