Media & Communications Research Methods

This subject introduces students to the research methods and skills they need to undertake a major independent research project, such as a thesis. The subject explores the key principles of research design, research methodologies and research ethics. Students in this subject prepare for their theses through a detailed examination of research principles, including: devising a research question, writing a research proposal, writing a research abstract, completing a literature review, and preparing a research ethics application.
