Global Challenges in Engineering

This subject provides students with a broad overview of Engineering in an international context through a substantial international learning experience (two-weeks in country). The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology will work in collaboration with specific partner universities globally to deliver the subject content. All assessment and grading will be undertaken by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. In addition to learning about engineering in the international context, the experience includes visits to cultural sites like monuments, museums, buildings, parks, gardens, and villages to explore local history and traditions. Upon completion, students will have a better understanding of how Engineering is conducted internationally, key challenges in particular regions, and will have gained cultural insight into their host country.
