Clinical Education Modules is designed to provide students with an opportunity to explore an area of clinical education in greater depth while remaining within the structure of the Graduate Diploma program. The aim of the modules is to allow participants to expand knowledge within a specialized area of interest, while maintaining broad application to the unique requirements of clinical educators and supervisors working in health professional contexts. Topics to be explored include (but not limited to): Interprofessional Education, Leadership in Clinical Education, Curriculum Blueprinting and Mapping, Gender & Culture in Clinical Education, Promoting Professionalism, Clinical Simulation, Healthcare Sustainability Principles in Clinical Education, Teaching Clinical Reasoning and Clinical Teaching with the Humanities. Participants will have the option of nominating which modules to complete based on their specific clinical education interests.
