Case Studies in Policy

This subject provides students with an opportunity for a practical engagement with education issues through exploring case studies of education policy and governance. Using an inquiry-based approach, students will critically analyse examples of policy development, enactment, and review. The subject will involve direct engagement with professionals working in education policy and governance, through presentations and, where possible, site visits. Students will draw on the research literature to examine key issues and debates relevant to the case studies under consideration.
