Quality Assessment Design

This subject examines assessment of competency in a range of educational settings. Various approaches to the collection of assessment data are examined including observation, collection of artefacts, tests and the development and application of rubrics. Assessment design and management processes are discussed and critiqued with respect to validity and reliability perspectives. Ethical assessment processes are promoted, including considerations of and respect for culture, diversity, inclusion and social justice.
