Through studying case studies of policy reform, students will consider the issues that underpin education policies and practice. This includes engaging with key debates surrounding education and equity, globalisation, First Nations’ knowledge, sexuality, gender, and ideas of deficit and ability. Students will critically analyse current education policy issues, informed by key theoretical frameworks and the research literature.
