In this subject, students will continue developing their knowledge and practical skills for person-centred clinical dental practice. Students will apply knowledge of disease processes, anatomy, dental materials, equipment and instrumentation, and techniques for the management of skeletal and dental occlusal discrepancies, diseases of the pulp, and diseases and pathologies of the orofacial complex and supporting structures. Students will also learn the theory and practice of fixed prosthodontics and oral surgery. Students will participate in a range of learning activities including lectures, online learning modules, seminars, and practical classes in a pre-clinical simulation environment.
