Anthropology Thesis Part 1

An independent research project on a topic to be approved by the Anthropology Honours/Graduate Diploma (Advanced) Program coordinator, under the supervision of a member of the academic staff.

• 1Be familiar with the techniques and concepts involved in preparation of the review of a literature relating to particular research topics in anthropology
• 2Be able to select a research question and to design a program using the most appropriate techniques to gather the information on which an answer to the question can be developed
• 3Be able to analyse data and reach sensible conclusions
• 4Be capable of presenting these results in written and oral form so that they are comprehensible to persons who are not experts in the field.
